Private Dog Training In Utah and Ohio

You will be going through our same proven, results-driven program offered with our online courses. So what's the difference? Having the additional luxury of your own professional Cornerstone trainer directing you through the whole process, with private sessions every other week! 

Your personal trainer will be there to see exactly what is going on with you and your dog, physically demonstrate proper techniques, coach you as you do them yourself, help you through the hard moments, and celebrate your victories. You will have someone to ask your questions to and be your personal sounding board.

PLUS...using our private, in-person services unlocks access to lifetime group classes!

Private, In-Person Training sessions are held every other week throughout the program, with a bonus graduation group class at the end. Each session lasts 60 to 90 minutes.

Sessions are held at our location.

We grant you full access to our "Chaos to Calm" course (and the Puppy course if you have a puppy). On the off weeks when you don't come in for a session, there will be about an hour of videos to watch and implement. 

Little by little, you and your dog WILL get better and better! Each week builds on the last. This process works!

Dogs of any age (and breed) are welcome!  

If your dog is under 5 months old, your personal trainer will start you with the Puppy Program which will then progress to our "Chaos to Calm" course. Your private trainer will be walking you through both courses back-to-back.  Your puppy will finish around 7 months old. Can you imagine? Knowing exactly what to do right when you bring your little puppy home all the way through 7 months old...and then lifetime group classes after that?!

If your dog is over 5 months old, we will start you with our transformative "Chaos to Calm" course, which has helped dogs with all sorts of issues transform into the more calm, trusted k9 companion you're hoping for. 

That is totally up to the specific location and what is open in each trainer's schedule. There is generally training going on every day but Sunday, so we can usually find a day and time that works well for you and your schedule. Just talk to us.

And remember, the private sessions are held every other week for 60 to 90 minutes. So make sure that is blocked off in your calendar as well.

We make use of leashes, prong collars, slip leads, e-collars, toys, and food. Because we want only the highest quality, our prong collar and ecollar are included in the price of any "Chaos to Calm" program! 

These tools are often misunderstood. If you are unfamilar with any of these tools, we introduce you to them and explain why and how we use them in every free consultation. We even have you feel the stim on the ecollar (which uses the same technology as a tens unit used in physical therapy).  

These are wonderful tools! But even more important is the technique with which they're used. Even the best of tools if used incorrectly can be a BAD tool. Take a hammer for instance...

That's why we are adamant about what specific tools we use and about teaching our clients how to use them correctly.

If after the consultation you still don't want to use these tools, we may not be the right fit for you.

Our guarantee with In-Person Training is that you will be completely satisfied or we will continue to work with you at no extra cost, as long as you remain the owner of your dog.

Remember also that you have access to lifetime group classes.

Lifetime group classes are offered only to "Chaos to Calm" graduates who had upgraded with In-Person or Board and Train services.

They are generally offered once a month and are run by one or more of our amazing Cornerstone team. We do a variety of activities focused on working with our dogs. Group classes are held at each location and graduates receive an email each month so they know when and where group classes are being held.

Since everyone at group class has gone through the "Chaos to Calm" course, everyone has the same rules and boundaries. It is a wonderful way to socialize your dog in a safe environment and keep your training skills sharp.  

It also provides life-long access to a trainer. You can always come and ask your questions and get hands-on help.
